Three times incase the first one didn't click in your head. Why exactly are you starting "the year"  by bemoaning "the year" that hasn't even gone anywhere? 
What's funny about that content that encourages depression just because it's relatable (why do you want to relate so bad? 😑)

There are so many verses on thanksgiving my dear. Scream, shout , dance and make sure that you rejoice and give thanks! 
Why already worrying of the future that you can't guarantee? 
The Lord has already promised us a future and there's even hope sef😌.

Give thanks, give Glory to God. A light on a stand can not be hidden.
 ( ‭Matthew 5:15 NIV‬
[15] Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. ).

Please rearrange all the steezeful dance you did today, fix it by next week Sunday. Weeds already do a good job moving side to side as the winds blows them (to the sound of breeze 😌), please mix in other dance steps 😂😂.

But is Thanksgiving just outward? No!
"Oh my spirit worship your maker🙌🏿..."
 You must worship God in Spirit and in truth, yes and that also applies to Thanksgiving.

Ways to do Thanksgiving according to the Bible.

1. Make sure you're not doing it with any strife. 
‭Matthew 5:23-24 NIV‬
[23] “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, [24] leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

2. Doing it in modesty. From your outfit to your attitude.
‭Micah 6:8 NIV‬
[8] He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

‭Philippians 2:3 NIV‬
[3] Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 

3. Doing it in love. Jesus says if you love Him that you'll obey His commands.
( ‭John 14:15 NIV‬
[15] “If you love me, keep my commands. )

I'm glad you made it into the new year. I'm grateful that you kept up with this blog as much as you could (even when I'm force feeding it to you 😓).

Surely God's goodness....

Hey👋🏿, Psalm 23:6 KJV‬ [6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. A prayer to end the Psalms of a sheep who is content with it's shepherd.  We've followed the sheep lore all the way from where he introduced the Lord as his Shepherd, told us the good and loving deeds, made us understand he had no fears or worries and that he carries an anointing that overflows from it's cup.   And now he claims the goodness and mercy of his Shepherd (some translations say, "Surely His goodness and mercy....") A heart of thanksgiving

Hey👋🏿, Gratitude a key word in living a life that glorifies God.  Man was created for God's pleasure and if you're looking for purpose.. here it is.  This topic was coined from the topic treated in my church where the woman who taught took us down the memory lane and showed us the necessity of saying thank you in all situations and not just when you feel comfortable.  Someone could be going through worse.  Jesus said surely you'd have trouble in this world.
