Obedience to the Holy Spirit

Listening to a recent Pastor Selman's message where he emphasized in being spiritually vibrant if you want to live a good life. 
To be spiritually vibrant you have to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. 
And if you're sensitive but refuse to obey, there's no difference between you who hears and those who don't. 



When the Holy Spirit instructs us, He does it for our good. 
Sometimes when I have issues with what the Holy Spirit is nudging me to do I always remind myself that He won't advise me wrongly and at the end it is for my good. 


There are benefits to obedience, I won't say so many because there are different instructions covering different areas and they might not be very important areas because yes the Holy Spirit is interested in even the trivial things in our lives. 

But I'm sure that these instructions have great value in our walk with God. God desires our obedience and He says in His word that our obedience is greater than sacrifice. 


Remember that disobedience to the Holy Spirit quenches His voice and effect in our lives. And life without the Holy Spirit is life without God.
Because I believe it's not new to us that they're one.
 The Holy Spirit is God's presence in our lives. 

Obey Him this week. Happy New month dear readers. Let's run the race with the Holy Spirit this week.

Consistency

Hey, 👋🏾  One thing a lot of successful people will tell you when asked the keys to their success is Consistency. Content creating, learning a skill and just about anything you want to do in life. So if we strive to be consistent in our money making skills knowing that it may take time and may also not work out then why do we not consider our walk with God as an every day habit. We don't take relationship with God as seriously and we give up or slack out because we're 'busy' or it's not working out the way you imagined. If you can press on in content creating despite low views or stress yourself to learn that skill that is not attracting customers the way you envision or probably it's working out for you, then pour out the same energy or more in maintaining a relationship with the Lord our Saviour. Grace

Hey, He is risen.  Old things have passed away and behold all things have become new. I read a book recently of a woman who suffered the loss of her husband and son and was left with just her daughter. It was a Christian fiction.  One thing the woman said that stuck to my head when asked how she coped with the loss, she said she gave herself a lot of grace to herself. Sometimes we contemplate a lot and distribute blame so easily and sometimes we're our own worst judge. And if you're like me, we don't really excuse some of our errors, upset that we didn't do better or just didn't do it well enough.  And in truth we don't even need the talking down from others because we do a good job on our own.
