Why I worship

"I was blind but now I see", was the answer of the man who was blind from birth when questioned by the Pharisees on who he thought Jesus was.
John 9:25 NIV
[25] He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!
 
This encounter of healing brought about the salvation of the man.
John 9:38 NIV
[38] Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.
As Christians we're encouraged to have personal relationship with Jesus but how can you make time for what you don't value?
The Blind man didn't care what the Pharisees were insinuating what he knew was that he was blind but now he could see.
For a man blind from birth that was a big gift to him and through that he wanted to know who the Son of man was.
What brings you into the presence of the Lord?
What is your reason for dressing up to worship the King of Kings?
If you don't have a reason, then you can't justify spending time in His presence even with yourself.
Your conscience may work against you, but once you've built an apathy to the things of God your conscience towards that area will grow weak and quiet so you could even see yourself spending a day without praying.
Let's ask ourselves what brought us to Jesus, why do we want a relationship with Him.
Jesus tells us a parable of a man who sold all he had to acquire a land with a treasure.... what is your treasure, what are your values.
Let's try and restructure our lives based on our faith in Jesus.
There's as much fear of going to hell can propel you and now with a lot of questions if it exists or not you'll just be going through life without experiencing the fullness of Christ.
Love the Lord as He loves you. Love the people of God, the church as He loves you.
Centre your values in Him, ask Him to help you make Him the center of your life. Do you choose modesty or dress as you like? Do you choose obedience over the sacrifice of later. All these questions can only be answered based on your values in Christ.
Blessed is the reading and studying of His word.
Are you a Church Bible reader or someone who wants to know God through His word so therefore becomes a devout reader of His word?

Consistency

Hey, 👋🏾  One thing a lot of successful people will tell you when asked the keys to their success is Consistency. Content creating, learning a skill and just about anything you want to do in life. So if we strive to be consistent in our money making skills knowing that it may take time and may also not work out then why do we not consider our walk with God as an every day habit. We don't take relationship with God as seriously and we give up or slack out because we're 'busy' or it's not working out the way you imagined. If you can press on in content creating despite low views or stress yourself to learn that skill that is not attracting customers the way you envision or probably it's working out for you, then pour out the same energy or more in maintaining a relationship with the Lord our Saviour. Hey, Happy Sunday 🤍... Praying..with the word. I am someone who just came to the understanding of praying with God's word. The Bible says praying in the spirit edifies the man but have you tried praying in the assurance of the word? Praying in the spirit is a very wonderful thing and goes far for you. But when you're praying for provision and you quote scriptures related to that need, I don't know for you but sometimes I will just smile and be like, "God so Gloria knows Bible verses?😌" My dear praying without knowing God's word for that situation might not be rosy. I don't have to say much about the importance of knowing God's word. The Bible is our sword and not knowing God's word is going to war without a sword... you can't win except by the grace of God. Know your Bible! Wield your sword! Where in your 2025 resolution is knowing God more? If you want to know Him more where else can you find the very essence of God than His word. In John 1,...
