The mission

Hey👋🏿, A perfect man came, lived, died, and resurrected. He made himself an offering in place of others, in repayment of the debt of sin that He didn't owe, and He did this for you and me, granting us grace and salvation, and removing the old man and clothing us with His righteousness, giving us the right to be called children of God. The Gospel doesn't get more straightforward than this. Now, Jesus, who is the perfect man, gave us His final command while on Earth. In Matthew 28:18-20, He said, " All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." A very straightforward command, with no hidden meaning, yet a lot of us have ignored this command in one way or the other, prioritizing our personal goals over the Kingdo...

The disappointment

Hey👋🏽, There's feeling disappointed, and then there's the feeling of being the disappointment.  Well, I'm going to be talking about the latter -  The feeling of being a disappointment. I sat down with myself this evening and had a very deep thought on it, and I came to understand that this feeling isn't something to sweep under the carpet. It doesn't just go away, and somehow it starts to shape your life.  Developing low self-esteem, setting pretty mid-level achievements for yourself because you feel you're not that type of "excellent". So, I went looking around for write-ups on this kind of topic because I'm not an expert at dealing with it. How do we deal with feeling like a disappointment? 1. I believe we should check for the source. What's getting to you? Who is making you feel like that? It's a kind of understanding that when you want to solve something, you start from the root. 2. Who do you want to talk to about it?  Well, I recomm...

Your Community

Heyyy👋🏾, Your Community: A Call to Connection 🌟 "His door closes, your door closes, her door closes." Three of you boarded the elevator together, walked the corridor together, and have lived in the same complex for more than 3 years, yet you don't know each other's names. The world has become so self-centered in recent times, building walls behind fears, trauma, and boundaries to keep people out. For a fact, we know man cannot exist without a colony (biology linguistics). Man needs companionship, as the majority of his habits are formed based on interaction with his community. A question then arises... where is your community? My friend and I recently had a discussion on this, which prompted this topic. Where has the community of believers gone to? I recently attended a prayer conference. I was there in the early hours of the morning to get a good seat, and before noon, I had befriended two of my nearest seat partners. I can tell you that worship was sweet because ...

The concept of Freedom

She'd prayed, fasted, read her Bible. That was few months ago. The fire in her could burn for two people. But now, She was fighting - Laziness, priorities, fatigue. You see, Christ had set her free He'd cleaned her, made her new and all. But you see, She went back. Came out. Went back again. But she could never let go of that Freedom she'd felt in Christ. That peace knowing your burdens weren't yours anymore. But worldly pleasure? Her flesh couldn't get out of that. Like an addict,  There was freedom in front of her, A step forward was what she just needed to do. But she was the one holding the shackles Christ had broken off her. She settled for the certainty of suffering than the uncertainty of freedom. Now what hope can I write for her? Nothing. Because I'm not the one with the pen. God is. And God forbid that there's no hope for her in Christ. She will walk in the light. She will find the way - Christ. Don't shun her, help her. Because surely God'...
