True Repentance

Hey πŸ‘‹πŸΏ,
True repentance
So this is coming a bit late but I'd already decided what this blog was going to be about since early last week.
True Repentance.
In our walk in life, it's inevitable that we offend someone. Now what do we do when we make such errors as Christians?
Repent and ask for forgiveness.
My last blog post was on watching your words and guess who needed that lesson in the following week....
I had the physical lesson on it during the week and the Holy Spirit laid it so heavily on my spirit to apologise for what I said. I wanted to sweep it off for fear of being misunderstood and fear of being judged.
But I was wrong and I needed to apologise whether I liked it or not. So the Holy Spirit had me out there making restitution.
It's not enough to be sorry, but to actually ask for forgiveness. The Bible lets us know that even if we want to offer an offering we  must first ask for forgiveness from whoever we offended.
And it's not just half heartedly. Genuinely let them know that you did commit the error, no excuses and ask for forgiveness even if they won't do same to you.
I encourage us to make amends even when it was just a "mistake".
Goodnight 🀍.

Shalom 🌸
