Hey👋🏿,  Father Lord I'm just using this space to say thank You. When there's Jesus there's change and not the wordly type. Going through the exam season was where I learnt the purpose of certain friendships. I'm so grateful for the time I fell sick and someone who had the same course the next day, sat down and was reading the course to me because I was too weak to do that.  I'm so grateful for the friends that did overnight with me  I'm so grateful for the friends who sent me things I should read and encouraged me when I felt weak. I'm grateful for the people I shared a room with. I recently wrote that maybe life is the friends we make and it's not all that false. God will always be the centre of our lives and he's brought in people, a community that will build and edify each other. As the exam season is coming to an end for some and for others just starting, I pray the peace and love of Christ will rest heavily upon you.  Writing with zero panic! ...

Hey 👋🏿, I hope you had a beautiful day.  Basing today's blog on  Proverbs 3:5 NIV [5] Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; Yesterday night was pretty tasking on my mind because I was supposed to be somewhere but I had another thing I wanted to do. During the session which I eventually went for we were asked to dramatise this particular verse and then I understood that during my battle with self few minutes prior, I definitely didn't lean on God's understanding but mine.  And then today during service my pastor touched on Faith.  (It's giving Gbas gbos at this point 😂😂...like Lord I heard you yesterday) And he's like, Faith works hand in hand with obedience and sometimes the instructions just don't make sense.  But there's an assurance that if you work in God's direction you will definitely not lose the way.  So this is a lesson for you and I, that we should stop trying to understand and make sense of what is r...

Hey👋🏿, Sometimes trusting God involves you closing your eyes to your plans and your fears and putting your hands in His and taking that step however unsteady, one by one in His big footprints. You might not occupy the whole footprint, you might not get that step but you're not going to look back and feel ashamed. Hey 👋🏿,  So i don't have much to say except it feels like the season where you're trying to be consistent and faithful to God but still yield to your fleshly desires can be very draining and depressing. (Speaking from experience 🫠.) A very interesting opening right? One interesting lie the devil tells people who are backsliding is; " You've started, you might as well satisfy yourself before you go back to God because you know you'll just be feeling guilty right?" Yield to this voice and within minutes you'd feel like you're far gone and if not for the Godly environment you've built around you- you might just slip away in guilt until you finally kill your conscience. Hey 👋🏿,  Good evening and Happy Sunday 🤍  Grateful for a new month and I've noticed I've not really practiced gratitude properly lately. We think gratitude is just,  "Lord thank You for waking me up this morning...", but it actually goes beyond that.  You can actually make gratitude a lifestyle. A grateful person isn't proud. A grateful person is meek  A grateful person would like to repay favours. Would love to help. Gratitude is a heart posture and a mind posture. Gratitude is very beneficial to you as a Christian. We're encouraged to think on things that are of good report, lovely and so on. A gratitude mindset literally ticks these boxes. I watched a Tiktok where a guy illustrated how you could have 999 things working for your good but the devil will be pinpointing your mind to the one thing that's probably not working the way 'you' want it. Learn to give thanks. In all things. A greedy person isn't grateful, they'll always want more...
